The faux surface title was what first caught my attention, but what I love about it was that the book has such great detailed step-by-step instructions along with great photography. There is also a gallery of photos at the end showing all the techniques, but different items, which expands the array of possible ideas twofold at least, if not more Shows the technics and steps to accomplish the desired looks very well. Easy to follow instructions. I am a beginner and my first attempt at what looked to be too difficult went extreamly well.

I highly recommend this book. I checked this book out from the library and it has some good information on how to make faux stone, wood and other things. I bought this book because it was a good read to add to my library. I'd recommend it to anyone who'd like to learn how to make faux clay art. This book absolutely inspires me to try new things. Card making has been my "thing" for several years. Adding polymer clay into the mix of mixed media cards is fascinating and beautiful.
